Our aim on this cruise is to provide a safe space to navigate the waters of grief with like-minded individuals who understand that while grief doesn't disappear, it can find a comfortable place within us, making life precious in ways we didn't understand before. We'll offer grief support throughout the cruise if you wish to take advantage of it.
There will be optional daily group sessions and one-on-one confidential conversations with one of the HEAL Group facilitators upon request.
The rest of the time, we'll enjoy 6 nights and 7 days of shipboard entertainment, shore excursions, relaxation, and fun. Join us!

Davia is from the Capital District in Upstate New York. She became interested in the field of bereavement when she was a volunteer for Community Hospice of Albany, NY. In 2004, she graduated from the Bereavement Studies program at Maria College in Albany, NY. Subsequently, she accepted a position as Bereavement Services Coordinator for a Funeral Home Business, serving several funeral homes throughout the area. In this capacity, she was able to help grieving families by facilitating support groups, offering individual counseling, and providing community grief education. In 2016, she served on a team to develop a training program for facilitators of bereavement support groups. Davia served as a co-instructor/trainer for the Albany Diocesan Cemeteries Pastoral Care Ministry at an annual three-day training workshop offered to all parishes in the Albany Catholic Diocese of New York. She has been a member of the adjunct faculty at Maria College, and continues to serve the bereaved as an independent Funeral Celebrant and consultant.
Davia resides in St. Petersburg, FL (escaping hurricane season), in Blairsville, GA, and Stony Creek, NY.
Currently, she is the Facilitator for the HEAL Grief Support Group.
